Terms and Conditions
- All entries must be made on the official entry form (photocopies allowed) or, preferably, via the Green Events website and must be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. If entering by post, cheques must be made payable to Green Events.
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
- All entrants must be 18 years of age on the day of the walk unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- On acceptance of your entry you will be notified via e-mail if a valid e-mail address has been supplied. If you are entering by post and require confirmation by post then you must enclose a stamped, addressed envelope with your entry.
- All participants must abide by the Countryside Code.
- All participants must be properly equipped to deal with inclement mountain weather and it is recommended that they carry the relevant OS map(s), compass, torch and whistle.
- Any particpant who drops out MUST report to an official to prevent unnecessary and costly searches being instigated.
- The organisers do not accept liability for any accident, injury, illness, damage or theft to any participant, vehicle or property whatsoever.
- The organisers reserve the right to cancel or amend the event if necessitated by unforeseen circumstances.
- Personal accident insurance is NOT provided by the organisers. It is incumbent upon participants to arrange insurance at their own discretion.
